LandAid 10K? Completed it!
Last Thursday we all laced up our trainers and headed up to Clapham Common to take on the challenge of the LandAid 10K.
We started the day off with a very successful bake sale, selling some homemade treats to The Trampery family, with all the proceeds going to the charity LandAid. After being up until the early hours of the morning, baking yummy goodies, we were all feeling a bit sleepy (and quite full of cake…Oops!) when we arrived at Clapham Common.
However, after a quick warm up and hearing about all the amazing work that LandAid are doing around the UK we were hyped and ready to go (Photographic evidence to prove it!).
The race definitely wasn’t a walk in the park (because it was a run…ignore my rubbish joke!) but was an amazing experience to raise money for such a worthy cause and to do this alongside so many others from the property and construction industry. Plus, it made the post-run beer taste so much sweeter (See photo!).
It is safe to say Team JAW will be back next year to take on the challenge again!
