Thermal Comfort Assessments

 

We can provide thermal comfort assessments required for BREEAM ‘Hea 04 Thermal comfort’. Thermal comfort assessments use a dynamic thermal model to analyse the temperature within a building over the year and assess if the rooms remain at a comfortable temperature for the occupants. Buildings can also be assessed against thermal comfort criteria in predicted future climate change scenarios, up until 2080.  It can also be used to identify mitigation measures or design tweaks required to ensure thermal comfort in maintained throughout the year.
